WJCC Athletic Fee Information
Starting the 2012-13 athletic year WJCC School Board has adopted an Athletic Fee for all students wishing to participate in school sponsored sports. This fee has been set at $50 per sport season.
This fee will be collected on the first scheduled team practice date.

TRYOUT INFORMATION: You must bring an updated physical form to the first day of pre-tryout workouts in order to participate. The physical form must be dated after May 1st 2012 and turned in to Miss King. Physical Forms can be found on the Hornsby Athletic Website.

Hornsby Field Hockey
Field Hockey Pre-Season camp is cancelled for today (Monday, August 20th) due to weather. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause, and we look forward to seeing you at camp Tuesday, August 21st 6-8 pm rain or shine. In the event of rain, please have your athlete bring a sock to place over her stick for indoor stick work. Thank you for your understanding!
Interested in playing Field Hockey? Want to try out for the team? No idea how to play? THAT’S OK!
Open Gym/Mini Camp
When: August 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd (6-8pm)
Where: Hornsby Athletic Field
What: Review conditioning, rules, drills, and skills, for tryouts and for the season. All levels of experience are welcome. Attend as many days as you would like! Attendance is highly encouraged, although not required for tryouts.
Bring: WATER, athletic attire (Shorts/ T-Shirts), Sneakers, Field Hockey Stick (school has a few extra to borrow), Shin guards, Mouth guard, (Optional- cleats, goggles)
*MUST HAVE A COMPLETED PHYSICAL PARENTAL CONSENT FORM ON FILE WITH MISS KING. (Dated after May 1st 2012)
Tryouts
When: August 27, 28, 29, and 30th. (6-8pm)
Where: Hornsby Athletic Field
Who: All rising 7th and 8th grade girls with a completed physical parental consent form are eligible to tryout.
Be prepared to demonstrate skills in endurance, stick-work, and strategy.
