School Nutrition Association Calls SHIP’s After-School Cooking Programs a “Success Story”

“Tray Talk,” an online forum sponsored by the School Nutrition Association where school meal success stories are exchanged, is featuring WJCC’s SHIP program and its after-school cooking programs on its home page through January as a “Success Story.”  SHIP at WJCC’s Child Nutrition Services (CNS) are featured, including links to the SHIP website and to SHIP cooking club recipes.  It also includes a video, produced by WJCC, about SHIP and the program’s goals.

The School Nutrition Association is a national, nonprofit professional organization representing more than 53,000 members who provide high-quality, low-cost meals to students across the country.  “Hot Topics” and “Success Stories” are featured on “Tray Talk” each week.  You can sign up for e-mail updates about healthy school meals.
