D.J. Montague Students Observe Bullying Prevention Month With Puppet Skits
In recognition of WJCC effort to prevent bullying, students at D.J. Montague Elementary perform skits on the Mustang News Program, which is viewed by all grade levels. With the help of puppets, students act out the concepts of what bullying looks like, how to handle a bully and what to do if you see bullying. Each day this month, the students are hearing “special announcements” about bullying in order to prevent this nationwide problem and raise awareness. This initiative reinforces our daily message to the children that we serve: “D.J. is a safe place, a caring place and a learning place.”
