Warhill Cheerleaders Lead “Cheer Pink” To Raise Funds For Breast Cancer Awareness
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Warhill Lions cheerleaders recently hosted their “Cheer Pink” game to raise funds for “Cheer for a Cure.” During the football game between Warhill and Lafayette high schools, football players, coaches, and fans from both teams donned pink to create a “pink out” in the stadium and raise awareness of breast cancer. Fans were invited to purchase glow necklaces to raise funds to support finding a cure for breast cancer. The Lions Cheerleading Program donated $527 to the Cheer for a Cure Foundation.
