Human Resources Specialist Takes WHS Students Through Job Search Process

Sara B. Garringer, Human Resources Generalist with the Washington D.C. Bar Association, recently visited Warhill High School to speak to Beverly Bristow’s Personal Finance class about job prospects, interviewing, resumes and cover letters. Each student compiled a list of questions, based on lessons, for Garringer to answer. She emphasized education and life experience as the keys to job success. Garringer gave the students a packet of resumes and cover letters to assist them in developing their own. She also gave the students advice about how they should conduct themselves in an interview.
