Lafayette’s Hurt Receives West Point Leadership Award

                         
Col. Tony Nadal (Retired) recently presented Lafayette High School student Mason Hurt the West Point Leadership Award from the West Point Society of Williamsburg.  This annual award recognizes a rising senior at each Williamsburg high school who has demonstrated leadership in sports, school, and community activities, and has excelled in academics.  In addition to receiving this honor, the West Point Society gave Mason a Kindle (a portable electronic e-book reader) for his scholastic and athletic achievements.
