Blayton Students Grow Salad Makings In Bumblebee Garden

Students at J. Blaine Blayton Elementary recently completed a full cycle of planting vegetables in their Bumblebee Garden, tending them, harvesting them, preparing a salad, and enjoying eating it.  The salad contained mixed greens, beets and carrots, all harvested from the Bumblebee Garden.  From left: Blayton Elementary Principal Paula Huffman, kindergartener Jocelyn Delgado, Assistant Principal Scott Holland and kindergartener Jaki Brooks.
