Berkeley “Turkey Trot” Raises $5,100 To Support Programs and Activities

Berkeley Middle School held its 14th annual Turkey Trot recently with more than 1,000 students, teachers, and parents running or walking one mile around the school. About $5,100 was raised to support many outstanding programs and activities at the school, including cultural arts events, teacher mini-grants, school equipment, and the student newspaper. Prizes were donated by Chick-fil-A Mooretown Rd., AMF Bowling Center, A Logo for You, Ben & Jerry's, Bruster’s, Philly Pretzel Factory, Target, Domino’s Pizza, Sweet Frog and Panera Bread.  The top five fastest runners for boys and girls in each grade along with all the teachers and staff received a special edition Turkey Trot T-shirt donated by Dr. Parks Orthodontics.
