Jamestown German Instructor To Assist UVA Professors Improve Assessment Tools

Bettina Staudt, German instructor at Jamestown High School, has been selected to work with two University of Virginia professors, Dr. Ruth Ferree and Dr. William C. McDonald, to develop an assessment rubric for UVA’s German department in alignment with the German AP writing exam. It will allow Staudt to dive deeply into the revised German AP and college level German exams and will tie Jamestown’s program closer to the standards. The team will meet and work during the winter break, spring break and in the summer.
