ACCELERATED READER |
Berkeley Middle School participates in the Accelerated Reader program. This system of incentives and assessments helps a student to improve his or her reading skills and is designed to offer students a wide choice among fiction and non-fiction. Our online catalog, which is accessible from the Media Center, the classrooms, and online at home; identifies any book found as an AR book and gives the reading level and point value. If the book is not part of the AR program, it has no identifying AR in the entry. If you wish to search through AR books only, there is a button marked AR on the tool bar at the top of the online catalog. If you punch the "power" button as well, you can include a subject or genre classification as well (ex. mystery, science fiction and fantasy, etc.). Home Connect and Accelerated Reader Link |
